Cull and Hayden PSC

Our practice has two components that compliment and support the other. First, all three partners are lawyers with extensive experience in health care regulatory matters and all are rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest legal rating possible. We also engage in government relations with both the executive and legislative branches, where our long-standing familiarity with their inner working is invaluable.

From a health care regulatory perspective, the firm advises clients on state and federal regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, audits, managed care contracting and related matters, telehealth, quality improvement, self-reports, internal and external investigations, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, changes of ownership, hospice, PACE, Certificate of Need, licensure, certification, and other issues that impact daily operations and strategic alignment. We also identify and address issues impacting the delivery of care including, but not limited to, guardianship, living wills, durable powers of attorney, and health care surrogates. Our goal is to innovatively collaborate with our clients to identify, develop, and implement opportunities in the ever-changing health care landscape.

As part of our practice, we regularly appear before administrative agencies for hearings and in circuit and appellate courts. In addition, the firm actively lobbies the Kentucky General Assembly and Executive Branch agencies. Lobbying efforts include monitoring regulatory and legislative acts and actively working to change laws.
